Research :

I'm working on probability theory. I'm a third year PhD student, under the supervision of Jean Bertoin. I'm interested in a class of stochastic processes, called exchangeable coalescent processes. These processes are valued in the space of partitions of the integers, and may be interpreted as genealogies of certain stochastic populations. More precisely, these populations are represented by the so-called generalized Fleming-Viot processes: these processes take values in the space of probability-measures. We introduce a notion of immigration in these two classes of processes.
